After returning back to Loudwater and returning the crown to the lord, we received our western wing residence. We then went to the lord to see if we could talk to someone who can investigate the magic items that they had. The lord told us that the Wizard would meet us later, since he was busy at the time. I went to the blacksmith to get my one ounce of material identified, but the blacksmith told me that he didn’t know what this would, so I thanked him for his time. When I returned to the western wing, we met up and went to the gem store after the wizard had stopped by and asked us for gems to investigate the items. Pup and Ari both stayed behind in the western wing while everyone else went to gem store. We met a Dwarf, who had named the store after himself. He mentioned his son Jr, who had gone adventuring, hasn’t been around in a long time. He gave us his name that he goes by, which was Bulderick or something. We got pearls after mentioning that the wizard had a need for pearls, so the dwarf sold us the pearls. After obtaining these pearls, we went to the wizard’s tower to get the items investigated. There was a shield and two potions. Both potions were healing, but the shield was something interesting. The shield had a strange eye that always seemed to be watching, and gave the user better perception. Nobody volunteered to have it, so I gladly took it into my arsenal. When we were done, I went to buy traveler’s clothes to go to a dungeon, which we had thought would give us more gear to use for our adventures. The trek through the swamp didn’t go too well. The first two days through the swamp went well, but the third day, we were attacked. Small reptilian like creatures attacked us from all over the place, and some even had wings and dropped larger rocks onto us. After winning the battle, we got to the dungeon and had a long rest. Then, after we finished, we went into the dungeon and came to a T in the halls. The stone brick walls were about over a thousand years old, and was crafted by Elves. Cracks in the stone and vines were everywhere, and it was pretty dark for us. Everyone had night vision but poor old Buckman, but that didn’t stop him. I kept to the back of the group, guarding the rear (secretly, I was pretty suspicious of the dungeon caving in on us, so I wanted to be the closest to the exit at this point). We ventured in, taking the left at the T, while Buckman went to check the right. Suddenly, Pup ran back to us after he had taken to the front and went too far ahead of us, squawking loudly that: “There’s assholes ahead!” We all regrouped quickly, and Usk then casted a Moon Beam inside of the room, and then informed Dra’kun to close the door, since he had casted it just in front of the door so we could close it. We waited for the spell to wear off, but apparently the Moon Beam only killed one of the creatures in here. We then barricaded the door after we made sure everyone made it past the door (which definitely payed out). We went deeper in, but suddenly we were ambushed while we were in another hallway, just after we got out of the room into the next hallway. The fight was tough, and these creatures hit us pretty hard. Pup had ran ahead of us, yet again. He would come to regret it (at least I would), as he got cornered, and then knocked unconscious. Dra’kun went to go save Pup by cornering the large creature with Pup. Dra’kun caused the creature to have fear, then continued to wail on it with his weapons. The creature then climbed up the ceiling and tried to escape, making it past everyone, only taking minimum damage on the way away from Dra’kun. I quickly gave chase by using Misty Walk to teleport to it. The barred door had actually payed off, because the creature was once again, cornered. We defeated it and then went back to Pup, who was stabilized by Usk. I went to a room which we had seen earlier, but we were unfortunately ambushed before I could get a good look at the room. I looked around and, using my stone cunning, figured out that there was another place to go to in this room, but all of the wood had rotted away, and there was no way to get up. We then suddenly heard that Pup was tangled in vines, and had been poisoned by a noxious odor, which he could not escape from. After healing Pup once again, we went to the very next room, which was locked. Buckman unlocked it, but everyone else was going to another room. Both doors ended up leading to another room, but since I had followed Pup and Buckman, I thought I would see both rogues. Instead, I saw Dra’kun, at the other door. I was really confused at first, but then I noticed the huge hole in the roof, letting the light from the moon into the dungeon. It was a beautiful sight in my opinion, but then I started to have a bad feeling about this. I got away from the hole, informing everyone that something big might be coming (which I was right!). A dragon fell from the skies, right into the middle of the room. It was smaller than dragons from stories I had heard from, but this definitely was a dragon. After a suprisingly fast battle, which everyone fully blasted the dragon, we ended up victorious. Though, Iyhra did try to talk with the dragon. Only after the fight, while the dragon was dying on the ground, did she tell us that the dragon had actually spoken to the dragon and got a response. It had told her that: “You came into my home and killed my friends.” after Iyhra tried to reason with the dragon right before the beginning og the fight. We didn’t get to tell the dragon about the fact that we were not the offenders, and that his friends were hostile toward us. In the end, we decided to spare the dragon, and only heal him (Was it even a him? I’m not sure about dragon anatomy…) a little bit. After the whole situation, I kind of felt bad for the thing, and I even used my Divine Sense to see what it’s true intentions were. They were as it had said earlier.
